On August 11, Ginny Weasley from the Harry Potter Series, is turning 31! To help celebrate her birthday here are some books to check out. The Harry Potter series is available in print, large print, braille and as an eBook. The eBook is now available in both English and Spanish. We also have some of the films available in our MovieBoxes. Check with your branch for availability. Here are a few book titles to get your celebration started!

Everyone has a birthday, even fictional characters. Phillip J. Fry, from the show Futurama celebrates his birthday today, August 9! To celebrate Fry's birthday here are some titles from another, well known Matt Groening show, The Simpsons. If you like reading graphic novels, you might enjoy creating your own!  Here are some books to get you started.

National Day of the Cowboy is July 28th! Celebrate by checking out these titles or making a trip to the National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum in Oklahoma City.

July 20th marks the 43rd anniversary of the moon landing in 1969. Astronauts Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin were the first humans to land and set foot on the moon. Here are some books about the moon landing, space exploration, and NASA to enjoy!
