The Purcell Public Library will host a series of beginning computer classes the first three Thursdays in May.
Classes will take place at 10 a.m. each day at the library, 919 N. 9th St., and are for ages 18 and older.
The schedule includes:
May 3 – Basic Computer Class – an introduction to the computer, including how to use a mouse. Due to the Meeting Room being used for the Friends of the Library’s Spring Book Sale, this class will meet in the Teen Area of the library.
May 10 – Internet Basics – an introductory look at getting around online. This class and the May 17 class both take place in the library’s Meeting Room.
May 17 – E-Mail Basics – students will learn about e-mail and have a chance to set up a personal e-mail account.
