Noble schedules basic computer classes on Windows, Microsoft Word

The Noble Public Library’s continuing series of free computer classes has two offerings in November.

Classes are offered in the Coman Culbert Community Room of the library, 204 N. 5th St. Registration is recommended as there are a limited number of laptop computers available for the classes. You can register online here for the Windows class and here for the Microsoft Word class.

Maker Mondays feature fantasy art workshops throughout November in Noble

The Noble Public Library’s weekly “Maker Mondays” programs take on a fantasy look in November, as teens are invited to weekly workshops for teens based on the library’s annual celebration of The Big Read.

The next selected book for The Big Read is “A Wizard of Earthsea,” a fantasy classic by Ursula Le Guin. And the library is conducting a series of art workshops to get readers into the theme.

Tadpole Tuesdays features another month of learning and fun in November

It’s Tuesday morning at the Noble Public Library, which means some of the library’s youngest visitors are invited to Tadpole Tuesdays, which take place at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday mornings in November.

The library hosts weekly programs geared to ages 2-5 and their caregivers, with a variety of learning activities.

Noble’s “Maker Mondays” focuses on spooky crafts for October

The Noble Public Library is giving local children a chance to learn hands-on skills at its weekly Maker Mondays programs, set for 3 p.m. most Mondays at the library, 204 N. 5th St.

The library hosts Maker Mondays series with a monthly theme each time. This month’s series will focus on a variety of spooky crafts leading up to the end of the month, with programs on Oct. 6, 13, 20 and 27.
