Noble Maker Mondays group to focus on poetry

The Noble Public Library’s “Maker Mondays” will get into the topic of poetry in their meetings throughout April. The children’s group meets at 3:30 p.m. each Monday in April at the library, 204 N. 5th St.

The group takes on a different theme each month and gets several weeks to learn more about a particular theme or skill. Past programs have focused on themes like cooking, comic book creation, holiday ornament making and video game design.

Noble’s Teen Film Club showing its creativity with projects

The Noble Public Library is giving local teens a chance to get an introduction to film making, through its Teen Film Club.

The group meets at 4:30 p.m. each Wednesday in April and through May 21.

The program is for ages 13 to 18, who will have a chance to both act and be part of the filming and development of short films. All filming will take place either at or within walking distance of the library.

Noble’s Tadpole Tuesdays bring fun and learning for kids

The Noble Public Library welcomes its youngest guests to its Tadpole Tuesdays programs, at 10:30 a.m. on most Tuesday mornings at the library, 204 N. 5th St.

The library hosts weekly programs geared to ages 2-5 and their caregivers, with a variety of learning activities.

Learn the game Pathfinder in Noble series

Go on a “Pathfinder’s Quest” with the role-playing game, starting at noon Saturday, March 15, at the Noble Public Library, 204 N. 5th St.

The quest will be a three-part series, continuing at noon on two future Saturdays, April 26 and concluding on May 10.

It will feature the game Pathfinder, an adventure card game created last year. The program is for either teens or adults, with the suggested age presented by the actual game designers being 13 or older.

Get ahead in the school year with tutoring from Noble’s Homework Helpers

WritingThe Noble Public Library invites students to get ahead to start the school year with its Homework Helpers program.

Community volunteers will set up in the Coman Culbert Community Room at the library from 3:30 to 5 p.m. each Tuesday and Thursday beginning the first week of September.
